Applications are invited for a Temporary post of Junior Research Fellow on contractual basis at the fixed emoluments of Rs.12000+HRA @20% per month for first two years and Rs 14000+ HRA @ 20% per month for third year funded by G.B. Pant Institute of Himalayan Environment and Development Kosi-Katarmal, Almora Uttarakhand project entitled “Development of aerobic asymbiotic diazotrophic and phosphatic biofertilizers for sustainable agriculture in central Himalaya” sanctioned for three years. The post is purely temporary and coterminous with the project.

Qualifications: The candidate should be M.Sc. (Ag.) in Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry with specialization in Soil Microbiology or M.Sc. in Microbiology/Biotechnology with 55% marks and NET/GATE or equivalent.

Upper age limit is 28 years as on last date of application. Age relaxation of 5 years of upper age limit will be given to SC/ST/Physically handicapped/ female candidates.

Candidates with research experience in project area and having knowledge of computer application will be preferred. SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules.
