Aplications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (01) and Lab/Animal Atendant (01) on contract basis under the time bound DBT project “Livestock methane reduction through immunization based approach”. This recruitment is subjected to terms and conditons in force in ICAR for such appointments. There is no provision of absorption/re- employment in NIANP/ICAR after termination of the project. The service of person, who engaged, will automatically stand terminated with the termination of the project. The apointment is purely on temporary basis and liable to be terminated at any time without asigning any reason thereof. 3. Essential Qualification Master Degree in Microbiology/ Animal Biotechnology.
4. Desirable Qualification Research experience in anaerobic microbial culturing and molecular work such as DNA isolation, pCR, Gel running, DGGE etc.
Preference will be given to ICAR/CSIR- NET/GATE qualified candidates
5. Remuneration Rs. 12,000/- per month + HRA for candidates having PG Degree in basic science with or without NET- Lecturer ship.
Rs. 16,00/- per month + HRA for candidates having PG Degree in basic science with NET – JRF qualified or Graduates in professional course with GATE or equivalent qualification.
6. Duration of the project Up to 27thAugust 2017
7. Age Limit 35 years for men and 40 years for women on the date of interview (Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and PHC as per GOI/ICAR rules.
