Prof. G.M. Reddy Research Foundation (G.M.R.R.F) is a non-profit autonomous Research Organization registered in December 1995 by the Government of Andhra Pradesh and recognized by Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, New Delhi in August, 1997. Apart from research, the organization also encourages and supports the upcoming Scientists and budding entrepreneurs in educating with the following technical skills.
HANDS ON TRAINING: LIFE SCIENCES: Cells: Multicellular-Plant: Plant germination techniques, Plant tissue culture. Animal: PBMC, HeLa and UCB stem cell culture, Chromosomal preparation, karyotyping. Unicellular-Microbes: Microbial cultures (food/ milk/ Water/ air/soil born, fiber/cellulose degrading bacteria). Morphological and Biochemical tests, Biofertilizers. Biomolecules:
A)Nucleic Acids: Genomic , plasmid DNA ,RNA and miRNA isolation. PCR,RFLP, SSCP and Haplotype analysis, Gel electrophoresis, Northern Blotting. Bacterial transformation and cloning, Recombinant DNA Technology. B) Carbohydrates & Protein: Quantitative estimation, Western Blotting and Enzyme assays, Immuno-blotting &diffusion. Purification Techniques: HPLC, TLC, Affinity Chromatography. ACADEMIC PROJECTS:
Academic-result oriented realtime projects ,registration closes on November 15th for Winter Intake and on March 15th for Summer Intake.
GRANT WRITING:
Assist in finding a proposal concept, evaluating the past work of concept, planning, execution methodology and finalizing the budget.
EDUCATE IN PUBLICATION WRITING:
Facilitate the submission of manuscript for publication in peer reviewed Journals.
