Lectures:

(1) Basics of Molecular Biology (2) Basics of Genetic Engineering (3) Basics of Plant Biotechnology (4) Basics of Bioinformatics

Hands on Session:

Biotechnology:

1) Microbial culture techniques (solid & liquid medium)
2) DNA extraction from plants
3) DNA extraction from Fungi
4) Restriction digestion and agarose gel electrophoresis of DNA
5) PCR techniques

Bioinformatics:

1) Basics of Bioinformatics
2) Sequence analysis
3) Phylogenetic analysis
4) PCR primer designing
5) Restriction site analysis

Who can apply: M.Sc/M.Tech/Ph. D students in any branch of life sciences or a relevant field.

Faculty members from Colleges and Universities in any branch of life sciences or a relevant field.

Ph. D. Scholars: Rs 2500/-(For 7 days)
Faculty and Teachers: Rs 5000/- (For 7 days)
