Agri Biotech Foundation is an autonomous Institution engaged in research, extension and
training. It is located on Prof. Jayashankar Telangana State Agriculture University Campus, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad. ABF has been recognized as Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) by the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), New Delhi.

A ten days Refresher Course on “Molecular cloning and transgenic technologies for crop improvement” for Lecturers, Researchers and Ph. D scholars in Research Laboratories /Universities / Degree Colleges / private sector, will be organized at Agri Biotech Foundation (ABF), Hyderabad, from 9 th to 18 th March 2015

The course aims to provide an update on recent advances in plant transformation

approaches and comprises on hands on training in cloning, restriction analysis, ligation, plasmid isolation, bacterial transformation, tissue culture, plant transformation, isolation of DNA, PCR, identifying transgene, and bioinformatics. In addition, issues related to IPR, writing winnable project proposal and ethics in Biotechnology will be covered.
