Applications are invited for the following posts in DST funded programme entitled "Traditional Knowledge Systems- Network Programme on Convergence of Traditional Knowledge Systems for Integration to Sustainable Development in the Indian Himalayan Region" for a period of Five years as per the rules and regulations of the funding agency:

Scientist D: One Post
Scientist B: One Post
Junior Research Fellow: One Post
Project Assistant level II: One Post

Essential qualifications:

Scientist D: MSc and PhD in Botany/Zoology/Forestry/Environmental Sciences/Life Sciences with at least 8 years proven research experience.
Desirable qualifications: working experience in Himalayan ecosystems
Scientist B: MSc and PhD in Botany/Zoology/Forestry/Environmental Sciences/Life Sciences with at least 3 years proven research experience.
Desirable qualifications: Working experience in Himalayan ecosystems
Junior Research Fellow: MSc in Botany/Zoology/Forestry/Environmental Sciences/Life Sciences with practical knowledge in Traditional Knowledge system.
Project Assistant level II: Intermediate/Higher Secondary level in relevant subjects

Emoluments:

Scientist D: Consolidated pm Rs.75000-95000 (equivalent to the pay band Rs. 15600-39100 (GP 7600/-))
Scientist B: Consolidated pm Rs. 50000-70000 (equivalent to the pay band Rs. 15600-39100 (GP 5400/-))
Junior Research Fellow: Rs. 16000/ p.m. for initial 2 years and Rs. 18000/ p.m. for third year onwards plus HRA as per the rules.
Project Assistant level II: Rs. 8000 pm
