Boston College for Professional Studies, Gwalior was established in 1996 and is affiliated to Jiwaji University, NAAC accredited and recognized under 2f and 12B of UGC. Department of Lifescience and Technology of the college offers UG program in Biotechnology and PG program in Biotechnology and Microbiology. Department has resourceful and modern lab facilities in Molecular biology & Genetic engineering, Plant tissue culture, Immunology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Cell biology, BSL-II, Fermentation and Animal house facility.

Department of Lifescience and Technology is organizing 15 days hands on training cum workshop in Molecular Biology, Immunology and Plant Tissue Culture in month of March and April, 2015. Students who are pursuing Bachelors Degree courses (e.g. B.Sc in Biology, Biotechnology or Microbiology; B.tech Biotechnology) or Masters Degree courses (e.g. M.Sc. Microbiology or Biotechnology) may apply.

For under graduate students there are two training modules. Module 1 is on Molecular Biology and Immunology and Module 2 is on Plant tissue culture. Interested postgraduate students may also register these modules or may undergo extensive one month training in Immunology. Applications must include a recent photograph, marksheet of last passed examination and Demand Daft of desired amount. Duly filled forms are to be submitted by hand or mailed on address mentioned in application form 05 days before commencement of training program.
