Applications are invited on for the JRF position to work under DST-ANR sponsored research project “Study of the association of microRNA and mitochondria and their role in regulation of neuronal cell death in Fragile X Tremor Ataxia Syndrome (FXTAS)” (Funded by DST, Project No. DST-ANR2014/Neuro-1/FXTAS). Duration of project is for three years.

The candidate selected may have opportunity to work in France.

Position: Junior Research Fellow

Fellowship

First two years: Rs. 25,000/- plus 20% HRA per month,
Third Year: Rs.28, 000/- plus 20% HRA per month,

Essential Qualification:

M.Sc. degree in Zoology/ Life Sciences/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology or related subject or equivalent with minimum 55% marks or an equivalent grade.

Appearing candidates can appear for the interview however the appointment will be confirmed after the final results.

Desirable Qualification: Research experience in Animal cell culture, Molecular Genetics, Biochemistry and Neurobiology are highly desirable.

Preference will be given to NET/GATE qualified candidates.

Above positions are purely temporary till the duration of the project.
