Submit VOTE | Should Animals Used in Scientific Research be Individually ​Named?

Scientists once frowned on naming research animals. Today, mice are Harold, Dudley, and Copernicus. Monkeys are Nyah and Nadira, and there’s an octopus called Nixon. Should the millions of animals used in U.S. research, from rodents to primates, be given proper names?
