International Workshop on ‘Microbial ecology international workshop 2015: From cultivation to new molecular methods’

CNR-ISE Institute for Ecosystem Study and MICROB&CO, Italy
The ICAR-NBAIM, CNR-ISE Institute for Ecosystem Study and MICROB&CO are organizing an international workshop from 29 June to 3 July 2015 at ICAR-NBAIM, Kushmaur, Mau. The aim of the workshop is to build capacity in key area of microbial ecology and its enormous potential for application in agriculture and other allied disciplines. The key areas of training are, Microbial ecology, current knowledge and future prospective; Cultivation and identification of microorganisms; Fingerprinting techniques for characterizing communities; NGS technology to study microbial diversity; Bioinformatics-driven microbial identification system profiles of known organisms. The participation is limited to 15 participants from India and 15 participants from foreign countries.
Eligibility: Scientists/faculty members/researchers/technical persons from the NARS system, conventional universities and other institutions funded by CSIR/DST/DBT/ICMR or other private bodies.
Course fee: Rs 10,000.00 for Indian participants

Receipt of workshop/registration fee (Rs 10,000) : 5 June 2015
