Applications are invited from the eligible candidates who intend to seek admission in 2-years M.Sc. Biotechnology or M.Tech. Biotechnology course(s) for the Session 2015-2016 at Graphic Era University. Registration form can be obtained at the payment of Rs. 1200/- from the University office during working hours. You can also download the form and send it by post to the mentioned address. Last dates for submission of the application form for different courses will be declared online.

Department of Biotechnology at Graphic Era University came into existence in the year 2008 and is currently running B. Tech (Biotechnology), M.Tech (Biotechnology) and M.Sc. Biotechnology.

Department has total 13 well experienced and qualified faculties from IITs, NITs, JNU, DRDO, G.B Pant University, Delhi University, IVRI and Jamia Hamdard along with  07 nonteaching staff and 30 research scholars. Faculties of Biotech department having national and international exposures are highly devoted to teaching as well as research. The department has filed 3 patents and several are under progress.

Department has separate well equipped laboratories such as Plant Tissue Culture, Animal Cell Culture, Recombinant DNA Technology, Microbiology laboratory and Sterilization facility etc. Most of the students have been placed in reputed Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology companies’ like- Panacea Biotech. Ltd., Ranbaxy, Windlass Pharmaceutical Ltd, Infosys, Parag Dairy, Pfizer etc. Students have also qualified many national level examinations such as CSIR-NET, ICMR, DBT and GATE and well placed in national and international research labs like University of Michigan, USA, Qyunghee University, KOREA and Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati

B.TECH (BIOTECHNOLOGY)  (4 Years)

· Eligibility: 10 + 2 with PCB/PCM

· Admission Procedure: Merit on the basis of 10 + 2 (PCB/PCM), JEE Score is also valid
