RECRUITMENT FOR PROJECT

Applications are invited from the citizens of India for filling up the following temporary positions for the sponsored project undertaken in the Centre for Technology Alternatives for Rural Areas (CTARA) of this Institute. The positions are temporary initially for a period of  1 Year  and tenable only for the duration of the project. The requisite qualification & experience etc. are given below:

Project Code, Project Title & Funding Agency 14DONIR004 : "Recruitment of Staff for TATA Centre" (DONATION A/C FUNDS TRANSFER TO IRCC)   Position & Salary Project Research Associate (1 Post ) Consolidated salary Rs.28000 - 42000/- p.m. Qualification M.Tech./M.E in Bio-processing/Food Processing. B.Tech./B.E/M.Sc. equivalent in Bio-processing/Food Processing with 3 Years Experience. Research Project work experience of at least six months. Job Profile Candidate will work with multi-disciplinary team on conceptualising, developing unit operations in nutrition-product development in Lab and scale-up units to address malnutrition in children. The work will require skills in lab processing, as well as scaled-up field unit management to deliver nutrition products.   Position & Salary Project Research Assistant (1 Post ) Consolidated salary Rs.21000 - 31000/- p.m. Qualification Bachelors degree in relevant Engineering disciplines. MSc or equivalent in Bio-processing/Food Processing Research Project work experience of at least six months. Job Profile Candidate will work with multi-disciplinary team on use of nutrition data to formulate specialised food supplements. The work will require necessary technical skills in handling and supervising the unit operations. The work will also involve training of field and anganwadi workers at the project site in Ahmednagar district.

The appointment is for time bound project and the candidate is required to work mainly for the successful completion of the project . The selection committee may offer lower or higher designation and lower or higher salary depending upon the experience and performance of the candidate in the interview.
