Applications on plain paper are invited for the position of two nos.of Junior Research
Fellow (JRF) in DBT funded Research Project entitled “Identification of Unique and
novel alleles of thermo stable and cold active lipases and cellulases from microflora of
J&K State using metagenomic approach” under the supervision of Prof.V.Verma,
Principal Investigator and Dr.Shafaq Rasool, Co-PI at School of Biotechnology,
SMVDU Katra, for a Period of 3 years.
The position is purely temporary and co-terminus
with the duration of the project.
Essential qualifications: The candidate must have M.Sc. in Biotechnology/
Microbiology/ Biological Sciences with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Remuneration: NET/MET/GATE/DBT-BET qualified candidates: Rs. 25,000 per
month + 20% HRA. However Non-NET/GATE candidates can also apply who will be
paid as per DBT, GOI rules.
