Karnataka Biodiversity Board
Applications are invited from suitable candidates for different temporary project based positions as Technical Executive/ Executive assistant/research associates/ executive assistants/ consultants, Second Division Assistant/ Data Entry Operators etc. in Karnataka Biodiversity Board for engaging the services for up to 11 months which may be extended based on performance and requirement in the organisation. The candidates should be prepared for extensive tour through out Karnataka and should have an aptitude in dealing with local people. They will be provided travelling allowance when on official duty as per rules, in addition to their consolidated monthly remuneration. Excellent spoken and written Kannada and English and proficiency in basic computers and M.S. Office applications is desirable. Details of the required positions are as below:

2 Technical Executive/ Executive assistant: Ayush/ Applied Botany/ Horticulture/Veterinary/ Animal Husbandry/ Wildlife / Taxonomy/ Botany/ Agriculture/ Forestry/ Fisheries/ Access and Benefit Sharing/ Marine Biology

(We may take more than one candidate from one discipline and may omit some discipline depending upon the suitability of candidates)
I. Qualification (Technical Executive/ Executive assistant/Research associates) Minimum qualification of the Technical Executive/ Executive assistant/Research associates is post Graduate in related subject. One year of relevant work experience is desirable. The salary of those who are having different experience will be fixed as per fallowing table:
1 Freshers Rs. 20,000/-
2 1 year Rs. 22,000/-
3 2 year Rs. 23,000/-
4 3 year Rs. 25,000/-
5 4 year Rs. 26,000/-
Even a higher remuneration for a particular candidate can be considered f recommended by the selection committee subject to approval of the Board.
Age limit: Maximum age 35 years
II. Qualification (for consultants) Post graduate in Bio-science with minimum 4 years of relevant experience. However, for those who are having more than 10 years of experience, minimum qualification is relaxed to graduate with Bio-Science subjects.
Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 30,000/- per month fixed
Age limit: 35 years, it is relaxed if some experienced retired Government servant is found suitable.
Last date for receipt of applications: 20/7/2015.
Attested certificated along with originals should be produced only upon invitation to interview. Upon offer of appointment, the candidate would be required to sign a contract which can be terminated by giving one month notice anytime during the period of employment. Proof of experience should be brought at the time of interview. 5 positions are reserved for SC/ST. Candidates to send their resumes by Post only.
