Recruitment for the post of “Project Assistant” under funded project Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Pune is a premier autonomous institution established under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, for the promotion of high quality science education and research in the country. Institute invites applications from Indian nationals for the following position on contract basis under the Wellcome trust-Department of Biotechnology (DBT) India Alliance research project:

Minimum Qualifications B.Tech, M.Sc or equivalent degree with minimum 60% marks/equivalent grade Preference
Preference will be given to candidates having prior laboratory work experience in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology/ Biochemistry, and tissue culture techniques.
Job Description Cloning, PCR, molecular biology techniques, mammalian cell culture, knockdown assays, basic bioinformatics
Consolidated monthly emoluments Rs. 14,000/- or Rs. 18,000/- + 20% HRA per month based on academic record, work experience of the candidate and having qualified CSIR/UGC-NET/GATE/JEST qualification (optional) if any.
Preference will also be given to DSTINSPIRE fellows.
