Advertisement for JRF (Junior Research Fellow) Position

Applications are invited from motivated and eligible candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a DST-SERB funded Research Project titled "Habitat hotspots and morphotaxonomy of Black fly (Simuliidae: Diptera) in South India".

Eligibility
Essential Qualification: 

 
Master degree in Zoology/Animal Sciences/Life sciences or in equivalent streams with Zoology as a major subject in undergraduate/postgraduate with UGC/CSIR-NET Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) qualified

Desirable: Candidates having exposure to insect taxonomy, aquatic ecology and forest ecology are encouraged to apply.

Stipend The amount of JRF fellowship will be as per DST norms and it is Rs. 25,000 + 10% HRA per month (if hostel accommodation is not provided)

Duration Initial appointment will be for one year, which is extendable up to 3 years solely based on performance.
