The following posts are to be filled up on purely temporary basis at ICMR Hqrs. Office, New
Delhi in a research projects entitled “Effect of non-ionizing electromagnetic field on
human health: A prospective cohort study” funded by the Indian Council of Medical
Research under Division of Reproductive Biology, Maternal & Child Health, ICMR, New Delhi.
1. Name of Post : Scientist-III (Non-medical) - One
Age : up to 45 years
Salary : Rs. 54,000 + 30% HRA pm fixed
Essential Qualifications:
1. 1st class Master’s degree (Life Sciences, Biotechnology,
Zoology, Biochemistry) from recognized University with eight
years R&D/research experience in the relevant subject.
OR
Second class M.Sc. + Ph.D degree in the relevant subject from a recognized University with eight years research experience.
Second class M.Sc. + Ph.D degree in the relevant subject from a recognized University with eight years research experience.
Desirable Qualifications:
1. Doctorate in related subject from a recognized university.
2. Additional post doctoral research/teaching experience in
relevant subject in recognized institute(s) with reference to
research work in EMF health.
Nature of Duties : Assisting in Conducting, Monitoring and Co-ordinating all the
activities of the project.
2. Name of Post : Scientist-II (Non-medical) – (One)
Age : up to 40 years
Salary : Rs. 51,000 + 30% HRA pm fixed
Essential Qualifications:
1. 1st class Master’s degree (Life Sciences, Biotechnology,
Zoology, Biochemistry, Computer Science, Computer
Application) from recognized University with Four years
R&D/research experience in the relevant subject.
OR
Second class M.Sc. + Ph.D degree in the relevant subject
from a recognized University with four years research
experience.
Desirable Qualifications:
1. Doctorate in related subject from a recognized university.
2. Additional post doctoral research/teaching experience in relevant subject in recognized institute(s) with reference to research work in EMF health and/or large data management, data analysis, compilation of data files and programming.
