UoH Computational Drug Discovery Project Openings


Applications are invited from the eligible candidates on a plain paper for the following temporary post in the research project entitled “ Systems Biology and Computational Drug Discovery for Mycobacterium tuberculosis active infection” sponsored by Department of Biotechnology (Govt. of India) in Department of Biochemistry, University of Hyderabad, India. 

Name and number of positions JRF (One)/Senior Project Assistant (SPA, One) 

Emoluments for the position Rs. 25,000/- per month + 30% HRA for JRF / Rs 20,000/- (consolidated) for SPA 

Qualifications Essential: 

For JRF: M.Sc or M.Tech in Bioinformatics/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Chemistry/ Molecular Biology/Human genetics/ IMSc Systems Biology with a minimum of 55% Marks AND NET qualification: CSIR-UGC NET/GATE/DBT-BET, category I and II/ICMR JRF/BINC For SPA: M.Sc or M.Tech in Bioinformatics/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Chemistry/Molecular Biology/Human genetics/ IMSc Systems Biology with a minimum of 55% Marks AND minimum of three years research experience 

Desirable: Basic knowledge in Bioinformatics, Data Analysis, Molecular modelling tools, Good Programming skills and Experience of working in LINUX, MATLAB/Rstudio, Bioconductor, and similar other data analysis software/tools used in Bioinformatics. Duration Appointment will be initially made for one year and can be further extended to the end of the project tenure based on performance
