About the Seminar
As we are in omics era, proteomics is one such field in omics tools which is the study of proteins on a genome-wide scale. It is the next logical step after genomics in understanding life processes at the molecular level. Proteomics will be fundamental to understand when and where the encoded proteins are expressed, and to generate an interconnected pathway, network and molecular systems that, taken together, control the workings of all cells, tissues, organs and organisms. Successful unraveling of the human proteome will improve our understanding at the cellular level and lay the foundations for improved diagnostic, prognostic, therapeutic and preventive medical outcomes. The seminar on Current approaches in proteomics is the unique opportunity for the researchers and scientists to present and exchange their innovative ideas. The main focus is on recent advances in isolation, purification, structure deterination techniques, computational aspects of protein structure and function, protein folding and misfolding, assembly, evolution, high-throughput data analyis and related fields in understanding the way the proteins shape biology.

We cordially invite research papers / review papers from academicians, scholars and students for oral and poster presentations. The topics include:

Best poster presentation award
The selected papers after peer-review shall be recommended for publications in the proceedings.
