Hands on Workshop on Gene expression and function analysis
for Crop Improvement
JANUARY 16-20, 2018, IIT GUWAHATI, INDIA
Objective of the course: To provide up-to-date information on methods and resources used to analyze function of
genes at the genome level, genetic polymorphisms, phenotyping, plant-pathogen interaction and bioinformatic tools
in the field of plant biology. The course is primarily designed for students interested in plant functional genomics but
anyone interested in the functional gene analysis of other organisms may attend because approaches studying gene
functions are essentially the same.
Host: DBT Program Support Centre, Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati
