Wellcome Trust/DBT India Alliance Recruits Chief Executive Officer/Grants Manager

The Wellcome Trust/DBT India Alliance invites applications from suitably qualified persons for two positions.

              

Position Title	COMMUNICATIONS CONSULTANT	GRANTS ADVISER
Reporting to	Chief Executive Officer	Grants Manager
Location	New Delhi or Hyderabad, India	New Delhi or Hyderabad, India
Duration	One year (renewable); contractual	One year (renewable); contractual
Application Deadline	January 10, 2018	January 10, 2018

COMMUNICATIONS CONSULTANT:

The person or organization should have -

• Permission to work in India and presence in Hyderabad or New Delhi, preferably latter
• Good knowledge of the science, research and policy ecosystem in India, and the larger international context
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Good time management skills and able to work with tight deadlines
• At least five years of experience in a Communications role, especially in press relations

GRANTS ADVISER:

The person should have -

• PhD in Life Science/Biological Sciences/similar areas
• Permission to work in India and willing to relocate to Hyderabad or New Delhi
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Ability to work to deadlines independently, and as part of a team
