TIFR Visiting Students' Research Program | VSRP-2018 | for All Final Year Students Eligible

VSRP-2018 : May 7 - July 4, 2018 

The Visiting Students' Research Program (VSRP-2018) will be held at TIFR, Mumbai during the period May 7 to July 4, 2018.

 VSRP for Mathematics will be held from June 4 - July 4, 2018.

Eligibility: 

 Physics/Chemistry/Biology/Mathematics/ Computer & Systems Sciences :

1) Two years of undergraduate course work in an academic institution.
2) Should not have participated in VSRP before.

Please note that the VSRP programme is for students currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme and not for PhD students or faculty members.

Selection: Selection is purely based on the academic performance of the student, submitted write-up and referee reports. There is no selection test/interview.

Stipend/Accommodation: Selected students are paid a monthly stipend @ Rs 7000/- per month and to and fro travel re-imbursement from the place of their residence. Also, free shared accommodation on- or off- campus is provided.

Last date for application : For Maths - February 28, 2018 For all other subjects - January 31, 2018
