We are happy to announce that the Department of
Biotechnology & Department of Chemical Engineering, FOE, Karpagam Academy
of Higher Education, Coimbatore is Organizing an One day National Seminar on “Current
scenario and near future of Biotechnology as Interdisciplinary field” on
CFBI’18 (1st March 2018) and One day National Technical symposium on
“Innovations of Green Energy Technology for Medical and Environmental
Applications for Sustainable development” (IGMES’18) (2nd March,
2018)
Tvasta (Meaning –
DNA which is referred in the Rig Veda) that gives shape to all the creatures
which is termed as an omni form (visvarupa) and it proves that DNA is present
in all living beings. It is the National Level Technical Symposium hosted by
the students of Biotechnology and Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering,
Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, Coimbatore. Following the two triumphant
versions of the symposium (Formerly Klonozara) during the years of 2016-2017,
the third version – Tvasta’ 18 which is to bring students at par with the
eminent discoveries and inventions relating to the field of Biotechnology and
Chemical Engineering. Tvasta’ 18 will consist of one day pre-seminar CFBI’18
(March 1, 2018 ) followed by the one day national level technical symposium
IGMES’18 (March 2, 2018) includes keynote and plenary sessions, brain-storming
panel discussions by invited speakers, oral & poster presentations, model
making and various other non technical events.
The Seminar cum
Symposium provides an excellent platform where students, researchers, teaching
faculty, scientists and industrialists congregate, interact and share their
valuable knowledge and ideas. Participants not only get to meet eminent
personalities but Tvasta’18 also provides a great platform to showcase their
ideas and research works in various events.
