Nitte University Bacterial Pathogenicity JRF Vacancy


Nitte University Centre for Science Education and Research: 

Junior Research Fellow (JRF), to work in the DST - SERB project

Qualification: Working experience with medically important bacterial pathogens and  experience in molecular techniques and identification of antibiotic resistance mechanisms etc. 

Eligibility: Master's degree in Biomedical Science/Biotechnology/Microbiology/ Molecular Biology/Biochemistry/Fisheries Science/Genetics/Any branch of Life Science with at least 60% marks (Preferred: with UGC/CSIR/ICAR NET or KSLET certificate)
Title of the project: "Decoding the traits of drug-resistance: Studying the genetic factors contributing to the survivability and adaptability of gut pathogens in  antibiotic rich environment"

Principal Investigator: Dr. Deekshit

Fellowship:
Rs. 25,000/- per month + 20% HRA for 2 years
Rs. 28,000/- per month + 20% HRA for third year 

Period of the project: 3 years
