Advertisement for Research Assistant under DST-SERB Funded Project 

Applications are invited from highly motivated candidates to work in a SERB-DST, Govt of India, sponsored research project entitled ‘Role of human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (UC-MSCs) and UC-MSC derived conditioned medium in regulation of colon cancer progression: an approach towards elucidating function of paracrine factors and epigenetic regulators’. 

Principal Investigator: Dr Antara Banerjee, Assistant Professor (SG) (Biotechnology), FAHS, CARE, Chennai. 

Eligibility – Essential qualification: M.Sc./M.Tech. in Life Science or related subjects with a minimum First Class grade. 

Age limit: Must not be more than 28 years as on closing date of application. (Relaxation as per the norms/orders of GoI.) 

Duration: 3 years or till the completion of the project. 

Fellowship: @ Rs 18,000 per month. 

Other: The selected candidate may be eligible to register for full time Ph.D. degree at CARE, Chennai as per the eligibility criteria of the Institute.
