International Centre for Genetic ICGEB Engineering and Biotechnology
One Research Associate (RA) and one Senior Research Fellow (SRF)
positions are available in the ICGEB Yeast Biofuel Group for a DBT
sponsored project to work on recombinant protein expression in
yeast/yeast metabolic engineering and next generation sequencing data
analysis. Initially, these positions are available for the period of one year
and based on the performance of the candidate can be further extended.
Educational Qualification: RA candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Biological Sciences/Bioinformatics. SRF candidates should hold a MSc. with experience (minimum 2 years).
Candidates with prior research experience in yeast molecular biology/ cloning/ metabolic engineering/ protein expression and computational biology / NGS analysis/ genomics, proteomics will be preferred.
