SAU Recombinant Protein Purification JRF Vacancy


Applications are invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work on SERB, DST funded project entitled “Direct fermentation of cellulose and ligninases-pretreated cellulosic biomass by recombinant Clostridium strain for the production of butanol-a superior alternative fuel” under the supervision of Dr. A.K.R.Gobinath, Faculty of Life Sciences and Biotechnology, South Asian University. 

Qualification: Highly motivated students from the background of M.Tech in Biotechnology/Biochemical Engg./Bioprocess Engg., or M.Sc in Biotechnology/Life Sciences are encouraged to apply. 

Preferences would be given to DBT/ CSIR / UGC NET qualified students. Prior experience is expected in one/more of the following fields which include molecular cloning, recombinant protein production from yeast and bacterial hosts, anaerobic clostridial fermentation, native and recombinant protein purification.
