Applications are Invited for Senior Research Fellow (SRF), under IGCAR funded project titled
‘Ecological studies at Kalpakkam coastal waters with special emphasis on phytoplankton,
zooplankton, benthic organisms, and bacterial diversity’ for Center for Environmental Nuclear
Research, Directorate of Research, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur,
Chennai 603 203.
Fellowship: Rs 28,000 p.m. for 1st year and Rs 30,000 p.m. for 2nd and 3rd year.
Duration: 3 years.
Qualification: M.Sc./M.Tech. (Biotechnology, Marine Science, Marine Biology, Zoology with or
without experience).
Experience: Candidates should have the expertise in the identification of phytoplankton/zooplankton
and familiar with microbiological techniques.

Selected candidates must join as early as possible and must be willing to travel for sample collection
to sea in boat and capable of doing the physio-chemical and biological analysis during the study
