DISSERTATION TRAINING PROGRAMME AT CSIR IIIM-TBI

We wish to kindly inform you about the Call for Applications for 4-6 month Dissertation Training Programme (December 2018/ January 2019 onwards) for the students pursuing M.Sc / M.Pharm/ M.Tech/ B.Pharm/ B.Tech/ B.Sc  in any branch of Life Sciences/ Biological Sciences Chemical Sciences / Pharmaceutical Sciences at CSIR - Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM), Jammu. The Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM), Jammu is a national Institute of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) of India, with primary focus of research on drug discovery from natural products -medicinal plants and microbial species.The Technology Business Incubator (TBI) at IIIM, Jammu is a state-of-the-art national cGMP facility for manufacturing herbal drugs and phytopharmaceuticals.

The summer training programme at CSIR IIIM-TBI is being offered in the following areas -

v cGMP Herbal Drug Formulation

v Microbial Biotechnology

v Fermentation Technology

v Herbal Drug Pilot Plant

v Quality Control/ Quality Assurance

v Natural Product Chemistry/ Organic Chemistry

v GLP Animal Facility

v Plant Biotechnology

v Kilo lab facility for complex chemistry

In addition to laboratory training, trainees will be exposed to GMP, GLP & NABL accredited facilities and gain information about herbal drug manufacturing, practical applications, scientific ethics and good laboratory practices in life sciences.
