Research & Teaching Assistant
IBAB is calling applications for the position of ‘Research & Teaching Assistant’ that involves the following responsibilities:
In consultation with, and guidance from, specific faculty members,
a) Plan, prepare, demonstrate and assist in teaching laboratory skills and experiments, particularly related to  fermentation and molecular biology, to (mainly MSc) students
b) Standardize new fermentation and other experiments
c) Take up active role in one or more ongoing research projects at IBAB at a later stage
d) Procure and maintain laboratory equipment, consumables, and take up any other related tasks as and when assigned 
Eligibility:

Completion of MSc or PhD in any life sciences branch in recent years and 1 or more years of wet-lab experience, particularly in the area of fermentation and down-stream processing.

Remuneration would depend on the experience and capacities of the candidate.
Commitment required: minimum one year.
Note: Selection process involves a personal interview followed by a test (hands-on) of experimental abilities. The process is expected to take complete working hours of a day at IBAB.
