Applications are invited from suitable candidates for one position of Junior Research Fellow in a DBT funded research project entitled "Delineating the DNA-binding function of Dock180" of Dr. Malini Laloraya at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram.
Essential Qualifications
Master's Degree in any area of Biological Sciences with at least 70% marks
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
Qualification in National Eligibility Test: CSIR-UGC/ICMR/DBT JRF or NET (LS)/ GATE etc.
A genuine interest in reproductive biology and committed intention to pursue doctoral study in the field. Willingness to work with experimental animals and must have good communication skills.
Age
Below 28 years as on13th December, 2018.
Emoluments
25,000 + 16% HRA per month for M.Sc. Degree holders who have qualified at NET/GATE (with valid certificate) or Post Graduates in Professional Degree course qualified candidates. M.Sc. degree holders who do not have NET/GATE certification will be eligible for 16,000/- + 16% HRA per month.
Duration
7 months or till termination of the project whichever is earlier.
Selection Process
Suitably qualified candidates may send applications in the prescribed format with a photograph, a copy of full resume indicating the percentage of Marks obtained and attested photocopies of credentials & experience to reach the undersigned on or before 13th December, 2018.
Envelopes must be superscripted with abbreviated title of the project, advertisement number and job title. Selection to the position will not entitle the candidate to any future positions at RGCB (permanent or otherwise). The selected candidate shall be required to work full time in the Female Reproduction and Metabolic Syndromes Laboratory, Division of Molecular Reproduction, Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Trivandrum. As with all project positions at RGCB, the position will be co terminus with end of the project.

Only those fulfilling the above criteria need apply and will be called for interview. In the event of more than 10 candidates being short-listed by screening the applications, a written test will be conducted before the selection interview and only those who are successful in the written test will be interviewed.
No TA/DA/Other emoluments will be given for appearing in the written test/interview.
