Applications are invited for the following temporary positions funded by Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and
Technology Project (BT/PR28545/BCE/08/1442/2018) entitled ‘Molecular Diversity of Coral Zooxanthellae (Sub-Clade
Level) of Palk Bay Coast, India’ purely in the project mode initially for a period of one year extendable further based on
satisfactory performance.

Positions:
1. Senior Research Fellow (1 no.):
M.Sc., in Molecular Biology/ Microbiology/Genomics/Biotechnology/Marine Biology/
Biology/Zoology with 60% marks or equivalent grade.
Candidates having qualified and a valid NET/SLET or GATE or
M.Phil., with at least two years of research experience in marine molecular taxonomy.
2. Junior Research Fellow (1 no.):
M.Sc., in Molecular Biology/Microbiology/ Genomics/Biotechnology/Marine Biology/
Biology/Zoology with 60% marks or equivalent grade.
Candidates having qualified and a valid NET/SLET or GATE with at
least two years of research experience or M.Phil., with one year of research experience in marine molecular taxonomy/
marine ecological monitoring.
