One JRF for the DST funded project Analysis of cross-talk between adrenergic and NOX Signaling in Cardiac Muscle in the laboratory of Prof S K Goswami, School of Life Sciences, JNU.  The duration of the project is till 31st March, 2020.

Remuneration is Rs 25,000 per month for those who have qualified NET and Rs 16,000 per month for non-NET candidates plus HRA if applicable.

Essential qualifications: M Sc in Zoology/Biotechnology with good academic records. One year experience in mammalian cell culture, Western blot analysis, standard biochemical assays like estimation of enzyme activities, Immunocytochemistry, cell fractionation etc.

Candidates having experience in animal handling and assays for reactive oxygen species will be preferred.

Initial appointment will be for six months and if the performance is satisfactory, it will be extended till the end of the project.
