Applications are invited from eligible candidates for a temporary position of Junior Research Fellowship
(JRF) for a project titled: “Cost effective dot-blot TAS ELISA based diagnostic kit for simultaneous
screening of multiple viruses in banana plants” under Innovative Technology Development project
sponsored by Department of Science & Technology, Government of India, New Delhi, India in the
Department of Biotechnology, PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore.
Essential Qualification: M.Sc (Biochemistry, Biotechnology) /M.Tech in Biotechnology Who have
qualified National Eligibility test – CSIR –UGC NET and GATE or candidates who have qualified in
National level examinations conducted by DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER,
etc
Emoluments: As per DST norms (Rs.31,000 + 16% HRA / month)
Duration of the project: 18 months
