Applications are invited from suitable candidates for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) to work
on the following joint project between BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus and NBRC Manesar,
sponsored by DBT, under the supervision of Dr. Vivek Sharma, Department of Biological
Sciences, BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad campus.
Title of the project: " Elucidating the role of long non coding RNAs (lncRNAs) in
neuronal cell death during Japanese Encephalitis (JE).”
Duration of the project: 3 years
Project position and number: JRF 1
Fellowship amount: INR 25000 + Hostel Fee Reimbursement
Eligibility requirements: M.Sc/M.E/M.Tech/ in Life Science, Microbiology,
Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Zoology, Animal Biotechnology, Biochemistry,
Industrial Biotechnology, Genetics, Bioinformatics. CSIR-UGC NET (including LS);
GATE, DBT BET (Biotechnology Eligibility Test), JEST, JGEEBILS, NBHM Ph.D.
scholarship screening test/ICMR JRF Entrance Examination/ICAR qualified candidates
may be preferred.
