Recruitment of One (1) “Senior Research Fellow” in a SERB-SPONSORED Project 

Project Title: Studies to delineate the molecular nexus between systemic infection, serotonin biosynthesis and neurocognitive decline using chronic infection model in rodents. 

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc in Neurobiology/Biochemistry or in any Life Science related subjects from accredited University/Institute with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA with minimum two (2) years of active research experience after M.Sc. (as per SERB office memorandum No. SB/S9/Z-01/2015, dt. 07 January, 2015). 

Desirable Qualifications: Passionate researcher with demonstrable 2 years of work experience in neuroscience related project that required exposure to animal models and cell biological techniques. 

Duration of the position: Co-terminus with the Project or upto November 30, 2021 (whichever is earlier). 

Consolidated Monthly Fellowship: Rs. 36,400 (Rs. 28,000/- pm + 30% HRA as per SERB office memorandum No. SB/S9/Z-01/2015, dt. 07 January, 2015). The fellowship is expected to increase subject to approval by SERB. 

Not eligible for hostel facility and other allowances.
