Applications invited for positions in ICAR-NASF Research Project
Applications are invited for the position of a Senior Research Fellow (one position), Laboratory assistant (part time, one position) in the below-mentioned project/scheme. The positions are on contractual basis, which are co-terminus with the project/scheme. Initial appointment will be made for one year and extended further subject to the satisfactory performance. The eligible candidates are invited to apply as detailed below with copies of self-attested relevant documents in support of their qualification(s) and experience.
The positions are in ICAR-NASF Research Project entitled: ‘Development of a rapid and robust high throughput reporter cell-based bioassay for detection of xenobiotics in milk’ under Prof. Rakesh K. Tyagi, Special Centre for Molecular Medicine, JNU, New Delhi-110067. Project duration is up to July, 2021.
  1. For Senior Research Fellow (one position): Rs. 25,000+HRA per month (unrevised).
Essential Qualification: Master degree in Biological Sciences with NET qualification and two years of research experience or MVSc in Animal Biochemistry, Animal Biotechnology, Pharmacology & Toxicology or Dairy Science or related areas. Desirable experience: Good experience of mammalian cell culture, molecular biology techniques, bioinformatics, fluorescence microscopy, methods related to biological extract preparation as relevant to the project.
  1. Laboratory Assistant (part time)* one position.
Essential Qualification: Class XII
Desirable experience: Should have good working knowledge of MS office, document filing and some skills/experience to assist in the laboratory work.
