Six-Month Research Training at RCB
Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) is an institution of national importance, created by an Act of Parliament, established by Government of India through the Department of Biotechnology under the auspices of UNESCO. RCB has emerged as a pioneering institute for research in Biotechnology and is defining new horizons in providing excellent education, training and research at the interface of multiple disciplines for the benefit of mankind. RCB has a strong commitment to exploring new frontiers, furthering science and connecting revolutionary areas of Biotechnology through cutting-edge research.
Applications are invited for six-month research training from final year graduate
and postgraduate science students of Universities/ Institutions/ Colleges for the
session commencing from January 2020 (January-June 2020). The terms and
conditions will be as follows:
1. The candidates must be in final year of graduation or postgraduate level
with strong interest in research.
2. The candidates will have to make their own local arrangements for stay
and other logistics.
3. They will not be entitled to any remuneration, stipend or fellowship/
assistance in any form during the training period.
4. They will have to abide by the rules of the RCB for the duration of training.

research interests and a 500-word research proposal to
