Applications are invited for the following purely temporary post of a Project Assistant in the DBT funded project under the Tata Innovation Fellowship scheme at the School of Computational & Integrative Sciences, Jawaharlal Nehru University.
Project Assistant: One post
Fellowship: Rs. 15000/- p.m. consolidated
Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. degree or equivalent in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/Bioinformatics or any other related field. The candidate having good computer/programming skills with experience in NGS data analysis will be given preference.
The position is completely temporary and the initial appointment will be for a period as per recommendation of the selection committee, which can be extended on the basis of assessment of the candidate’s performance and discretion of the Competent Authority. The eligible candidates may further be shortlisted based on the qualification/experience depending on the total number of applications received. JNU may select candidate against the above post depending upon the qualifications and experience of the candidate and reserves the right to relax any of the qualification(s) in case the candidate is found otherwise well qualified by the Selection Committee.
