Essential Educational Qualifications & Experience: Ph. D. submitted in Microbiology or
allied areas of Microbial Sciences involving research in fungal systems.
Desirable Qualification and Experience: Minimum 2 years of postdoctoral experience in
the area of fungal taxonomy and/or fungal biotechnology with actual research
work/publications in the area of classical and advanced approaches on strain improvement
and 2 publications in SCI journals or at least one patent in the area of fungal systems. The
candidates having experience in Process/Product Development/Technology
Innovation/Applied Technology etc. will be preferred.
Job Specification: The selected candidate is expected to contribute in maintaining,
supplying and authenticating microbial cultures for customers. Further candidate should
conceive and undertake industry oriented applied research in the area of fungal
biotechnology and also participate in the on-going research activities of the center.

Essential Educational Qualifications & Experience: Ph. D. in any branch of biological
sciences involving protein structural biology work with two years post-doctoral work
experience in X-ray crystallography and/or cryo-electron microscopy for macromolecules
(proteins) with reference to infectious diseases.
Desirable Qualification and Experience: Minimum 5-years of postdoctoral experience and
5-publications in SCI journals in the above mentioned area. The candidates having
experience in Product Development/Technology Innovation/Applied Technology etc. will
be preferred.
Job Specification : The selected candidate is expected to maintain and run X-ray
crystallography facility and undertake protein structural biology research. Further to
develop industry oriented applied research on her/his own in the area and also participate
in the on-going research activities of the division.
