Applications are invited from suitable candidate for filling up the following position at National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad

One position of Project Associate-II against the following project: 

(i) DBT funded project entitled “Genomics assisted pathobiology to identify novel targets for diagnosis and therapeutic intervention(s) of Japanese encephalitis and Leptospirosis”.

PI: Dr. Ravi Gandham, Co-PIs- Dr. Subeer S. Majumdar, Dr. Syed M. Faisal, Dr. Pankaj Suman. 

Eligibility: Master’s Degree in Life Science or Agricultural Sciences / MVSc or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent; and 2 years’ experience in Research and Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services as per DST OM No. SR/S9/Z-05/2019 dated 21.08.2019. 

Fellowship amount: Rs. 35000/-PM +24% HRA (if applicable) as per the DST guidelines. 

Experience: Candidate with experience in Molecular biology and Immunological techniques, genomics, proteomics, bioinformatics and animal (mice, hamster) handling is desirable. 

Candidates having prior experience in working any virus will be preferred. 

Age: 35 years (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government instructions)
