About the Conference

IBHS`20 is a third National Conference organized by Faculty of Engineering, Department of Biotechnology, Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, Coimbatore. IBHS`20 mainly emphasizes on the development of new solution for the existing problems in health care process and products. Biotechnology concentrates on medicinal products and diagnostic products. Based on high level potency of biotechnology in rDNA technology, it has wide range of solutions for variety of deficiencies and diseases. Its major impacts on health sector includes: Unique, targeted, aptamer drug delivery and personalized therapeutic and diagnostic solutions, An unlimited amount of potentially safer antibiotics, Higher clinical effectiveness, Development of vaccines, Treatment of diseases, Cultured Stem Cells and Bone Marrow Transplantation, Skin related ailments and use of cultured cell, Genetic Counseling, Forensic Medicine, Gene Probes as biomarkers, Genetic Fingerprinting, Karyotyping. The aim of the conference is the amalgamation of multidisciplinary fields of Biotechnology and Life sciences. IBHS’20 focuses on advancement of biotechnology to the development of health care. The conference offers two days scientific program with students, staffs, scientists, academicians, clinicians and biotechnology entrepreneurs who are actively engaged in novel technologies to come together to provide opportunities for discussing, sharing and dissipating the knowledge in the latest trends in health sector. It offers plenary/keynote lectures along with oral and poster presentations under diverse sectors of health care. To throw light on the emerging healthcare biotechnology, this Two day National Conference is being organized on the Impact of Biotechnology in improving human health.

Call for papers

The organizers encourage the submission of scientific abstracts for both oral and poster presentations. Abstracts (not more than 300 words) must include Manuscript title, Author(s), Affiliation(s), contact details, with a clear indication of research work, methodology, major results and conclusions in the following format: -12pts; Type- Times New Roman; Spacing- 1.5.Abstract should be submitted in MS Word format via email to ibhs20@gmail.com on or before 07.03.2020. Poster size = 3 ft wide and 4ft high (36 in W and 48 in H). Abstract will be accepted only from registered delegates. Visit website for the full length article template. Organizers encourage the participants to submit the full length research/review articles which will be published in a book with ISBN No 978-93-5406-284-1.
