URGENT VACANCIES
[1] Project Coordinator/ CEO
SRISTI Innovations, a not for profit
company under section 8 promoting grassroots innovation based products developed
at Sadbhav SRISTI Sanshodhan Natural Products Laboratory, Grambharti,
Gandhinagar-Mahudi Road, Gandhinagar and incubating biotechnological innovators
and entrepreneurs is inviting applications from suitably experienced young
professionals for its SIIE- BioNEST Incubator supported by BIRAC New Delhi.
Essential qualifications: Candidate should be Ph.D. or post graduate in
Life Science or allied fields with MBA, must have at least three to five years
of relevant experience in research/incubation/product & business
development/incubating technologies related to biotech, medical / pharmacy,
agriculture, food & Nutraceuticals etc.
Desired requirements: Experiences of managing projects and
leadership abilities for accelerating the technological progress in facilitating
the product development, marketing, business plan & development. To
foster interface with industries and academic institutions to support
incubatees.
Maximum salary up to Rs. 1,00,000/-
p.m., Depending upon the experience; essential qualification can be relaxed in
outstanding cases.

[2] Project Coordinator
Essential qualification: Candidate should have a PhD in pharmacy,
biotechnology, plant sciences, medical technologies or postgraduate with
experience of three to five years in research, incubation, business
development, technology development or a Master’s degree with management,
professional experience of incubating technologies for three to five years. The
qualifications can be relaxed in exceptional cases.
Desired requirements: Experience of managing projects for
product/business development supported by external agencies; coordination,
communication, interface with industry and academic institutions.
Consolidated salary maximum: Rs.
60,000/- p.m. all inclusive
Position based at Grambharti,

[3] Executive Secretary
A person well versed in
executive communication, having good command over English and capable of
drafting letters and minutes of the meetings, hard-working and patient, willing
to assist Prof. Anil Gupta for classes, coordination with
innovators/students/policy makers, travel schedule etc., may apply
Postgraduate preferred but
UG with experience will also be considered
Position based at Ahmedabad
Consolidated salary maximum: Rs. 30
-45000/- p.m. all inclusive (Negotiable for the right candidate)
[4] Project
Administration
SRISTI has many projects dealing with
the government, private sector, NGOs etc., that require efficient and ethical
support to the secretary and team of scientists and grassroots innovators. We
are looking for a person who can manage content, make and edit
minutes, translate the field notes, ensure compliance with all regulatory
and financial rules, knowledge of Gujarati desirable but not essential.
Essential qualifications: Candidate
should be a Master with Science stream with an experience of three to five
years in handling government or private sectors projects.
The person should be willing to make
reports of conferences, help in communications, proposal writing and mobilizing
resources by actively pursuing external agencies.

[5] Manager Database/Website
Content/Communication management
A post-graduate well versed in ICT
tools, preferably well-versed in open source tools having, experienced
in website, database design, and management, updating content,
coordinating with various stakeholders, enjoys social media sharing of
innovations and activities from SRISTI and handle.
The person should be able to stretch
himself when needed and coordinate with diverse team, update Shodhyatra
multimedia reports, publications, policy blogs etc.
Position based at Ahmedabad
Consolidated salary maximum: Rs.
30,000/- p.m. all inclusive (Negotiable for the right candidate)
[6] Copy Editor
Graduate or post graduate in science
with a minimum three year hands on experience in editing, proofreading, layout,
translation.
The candidate should have excellent
writing skills in English for drafting communication material regarding our
activities and the innovations supported by the organization.
We seek candidate who hold strong
skills of creativity, an eye for detail, deadline driven, meticulous
proof-reading, Strong fact checking and familiarity with design software.
Experience of working in a reputed
magazine, newsletters, journal related to community knowledge or other
scientific journals is desirable.
Consolidated Salary: Rs 35,000/-
(Negotiable depending upon the experience)
Position based at Ahmedabad
[7] Agronomist/ Agriculture
expert
Essential qualifications: Candidate
should be a Masters/Ph.D. in Agronomy/ agriculture. A person having experience
in designing on farm and on station trials is essential. Candidate will
be solely responsible for collection of data of on farm trial at early morning
and evening as and when required. Candidate has to work on validation of
farmer’s innovations/ traditional Practices. The qualifications can be relaxed
in exceptional cases.
Desired requirements: 2—3 years relevant experiences of
managing agriculture projects and leadership abilities for arranging meetings
with farmers and innovator to convey results obtained from the field trials.
Accommodation in Grambharti campus
will be provided to the Candidate.
Consolidated Salary between: Rs
35,000- 45,000/- (Negotiable depending upon the experience)
8. Herbal product development expert:
A person well versed with herbal
product development, quality control, analyst with skills for shelf life,
storage, regulatory approvals etc. Experience in development, licensing and
diffusion of commercial product will be greatly appreciated. Even retired
people can apply.
