Applications are invited from highly motivated candidates for the post of Technical Assistant (TA) for
the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, sponsored
Major Research Project (BT/PR 28606/AAQ/3/921/2018; dated-16.05.2019) entitled, “High Density
Continuous Production of Domesticated Marine Copepods (Pseudodiaptomus annandalei,
Dioithona rigida & Nitokra affinis) Through Selective and Induced Breeding Using RAS: A Way
Forward Towards The Culture Supply and Technology Dissemination” under the supervision of
Dr. P. Santhanam, Associate Professor, Department of Marine Science, School of Marine Sciences,
Bharathidasan university, Tiruchirappalli-620 024.
The interested candidates can send the Curriculum
Vitae along with the copies of their educational qualification, testimonial from the Research
Supervisor/Head of the Department/Institution where last studied/employed and experience certificates

The scrutinized candidates will be called for the interview and the date of interview will be informed
later. The post is purely on temporary basis. TA/DA is not permissible for attending the interview.
Duration : 2 Years 5 Months
Emoluments : Rs. 9720/-pm
Essential Qualification: M.Sc., in Marine Science/Marine Biology/Marine Biotechnology/
Coastal Aquaculture/Ocean Science & Technology/Zoology/Animal Biotechnology/Fisheries Science
Desirable Qualification: Working Experience in Live Feeds Culture especially Marine Copepods
and Marine Microalgae Culture
