The Department of Biosciences, School of
Basic Sciences, Faculty of Science, Manipal University Jaipur, Rajasthan is
organizing International Online Conference on COVID-19 Biotechnology: A Way
Forward on April 30, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
In this online international conference, leading
Indian and global scientists, health professionals and infectious disease
expert will discuss about the COVID-19 pandemic and possible solutions to
combat this disease. This online conference aims to explore the possibilities
in Biotechnology, which could be assist in combating and creating awareness
about this pandemic. The take-away from this conference would be as to how the
direct interventions, such as drug repurposing or by involving Ayurvedic
remedies along with and the design of new vaccines can become an essential tool
to fight this pandemic. As said
“Prevention is better than cure”, we also believe that sharing the knowledge
and discussing about the spreading ways and other aspects of this deadly virus
will create awareness and better understanding in the society.
The Department of Biosciences, Manipal
