Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Design and perform various experiments, analysis, data interpretation and presentation.
• Interaction with senior and junior members of the research unit.
• Interaction with other subject experts, graduate, undergraduate students
• Involvement in primary molecular biological assays both in vitro and in vivo experimental model (animal studies, tissue culture, qRT-PCR, western blotting, biochemical and cellular parameters analysis using diverse techniques, etc.).
Position Requirements
This position requires a Ph.D. in Life Sciences (Biochemistry, Biotechnology), or related field.
Preference will be given to applicants with experience in animal tissue culture, proteomics and genomics research. The successful candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in animal tissue culture, molecular analyses of gene expression, and designing biochemical and cell assays to measure target engagement or modulation. A record of productivity, as supported by publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals, is essential (at least one publication in SCI or SCI-E indexed Scientific Journal with Impact factor).
Strong written/verbal communication skills are required, as is the ability to work with minimal supervision within a supportive team environment.
