CONTRACTUAL ENGAGEMENT OF PROJECT PERSONNEL UNDER VARIOUS PROJECTS WALK – IN – INTERVIEW 

1. NMCG-WII Phase II Planning and Management for Aquatic Species Conservation and Maintenance of Ecosystem Services in the Ganga River basin for a Clean Ganga PMU.

Ph.D. in Wildlife Science with 20 years of experience in wildlife research with primary focus on aquatic species, river ecology and wetland management. 

The candidate should have extensive experience of leading large scale, national level, multi-disciplinary projects. Substantial publications in peer-reviewed journals dealing with conservation of aquatic species and their habitats. Should have prepared/ Coordinated management plans for wetlands. 

Minimum 45 years Candidate will implement project activities and supervise 

Project Scientists and advise field managers on aquatic biodiversity conservation and planning. 

Provide intellectual inputs for the preparation of scientific and policy related documents and publications in peer reviewed journals.

2. Conservation Action Plan for Sangai: An Integrated Approach C.

1 Conservation Officer

M.Sc. in Wildlife Sciences/ Zoology / Life Sciences/ Biotechnology or related subjects 

With ≥60% marks and >4 years of research experience on wildlife sciences/ecology/conservation genetics. 

Experience of wildlife population monitoring, conservation genetics study and field conservation Maximum 35 years 

Candidate will assist the Project Scientists in implementing conservation management of Sangai.
