MAHE Manipal Bioinformatician/Scientist Openings

Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal invites applications for the following positions for the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Maryland, USA funded project titled “Genetic diagnosis of neurodevelopmental disorders in India” at the Department of Medical Genetics, Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. 

Positions and details: 

1. Bioinformatician – 01 position 

Desired Qualification: M.Sc. /PhD in Bioinformatics, or M.Sc. (Computer Science) or M.Sc. (Biotechnology) or equivalent qualification with training/experience in bioinformatics related to Human Genetics. 

Remuneration: Rs. 46,000 per month 

Duration: 3 years 7 months 

2. Research Scientist – 01 position 

Qualification: M.Tech./M.Sc. in Life Sciences/Biotech/Genetic Counselling OR MBBS/BDS degree holders or equivalent. Candidates with NET/GATE qualification will be preferred. 

Remuneration: Rs. 40,000 per month 

Duration: 7 months
