Candidates are invited to appear before the selection committee in the online interview for filling up filling up a purely temporary position in the scheme of “Short-Term Research Fellowship” programme, under the supervision of Dr. Senjuti Sinharoy, Scientist, NIPGR. The details of the position are as under:
1 .Name of Position: Research Associate (RA) 01 post.
Eligibility: Candidates having a Ph. D. in Life Sciences with good academic record (i.e. overall 55% marks throughout the academic carrier) are eligible to apply.
Experience of working with immune histochemistry, recombinant protein purification (his-tag and gel filtration), western blot is mandatory.
Those having experience in root nodule symbiosis with and the research paper in the journals of International repute in relevant field will be given preference.
The Fellowship amount for the above position is at par with the similar fellowships by DBT/DST. The above position is completely on temporary basis with a maximum duration of three years. The initial appointment will be for a period of one year, which can be curtailed or extended based on the performance of the candidate and discretion of the Competent Authority. NIPGR reserves the right to select the candidate against the above post depending upon the qualifications and experience of the candidate. Reservation of posts shall be as per Govt. of India norms. The position may be terminated any time by giving a month notice by either side. The applicants will have no claim implicit or explicit for consideration against any regular position of NIPGR.
