“28S Ribosomal RNA Capture Assay for the Sensitive Detection of
Plasmodium falciparum and Plasmodium vivax”
Applications are invited for one post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the multi-centric
research project entitled “28S Ribosomal RNA Capture Assay for the Sensitive Detection of
Plasmodium falciparum and Plasmodium vivax” funded by the Malaria Elimination Research
Alliance, India via Indian Council of Medical Research under the supervision of Prof. Ashis
Kumar Das (Principal Investigator), Department of Biological Sciences, Birla Institute of
Technology & Science, Pilani (Pilani Campus), Rajasthan - 333031.
The position is for a duration of 02 years.
Essential Qualifications:
Any National Level Examination qualified candidate with M.Sc./M.Tech./M.E. in
Biotechnology/Biological Sciences or equivalent degrees in allied disciplines.
Desirable Qualifications:
Candidates with a background in Molecular Biology/Molecular Diagnostics will be given
preference.
Emoluments:
Emoluments will be as per the norms of the Indian Council of Medical Research, at Rs.
31,000/- Per Month.
